Mr.Tarek El Kholy, has more than 35 years’ of extensive experience in the Banking and Finance industry, during which he has held key operational and managerial positions. Mr. ElKholy holds a High Diploma in Banking Finance, he has attended extensive training programs in diverse technical and managerial levels in the fields of Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Project Finance, Treasury, Capital Markets, Trade Finance and credit analysis.
He joined the Banking Industry in 1982 with the Arab Bank PLC, as a Foreign Exchange officer, Credit Risk Manager, Senior Credit Manager then he joined MiBank as General Manager (Head of consolidated Risk Management) also he joined Bank Audi as Senior General Manager (Head of consolidated Risk Management). He was a member of various Commercial Banks’ BODs and committees: General Management Committee (GMC), Head Office Credit Committee (HOCC), Assets and Liability Management Committee (ALCO), Moreover, He has represented Mibank as Board Member at (Arab Contractors Medical Centre –Incolease Company-Remco Company for Tourism). Mr. Tarek has participated in all Mibank Restructuring phases under the supervision of Lloyds Bank TSB, Mr. Tarek was appointed as assistant Sub- Governor at CBE (Chief Risk Officer) beside managing the re-engineering of process and procedures, Then he became the Sub- Governor at Central Bank of Egypt (Head of on- site Banking Supervision and Chief Risk Officer- Head of Risk Management). Currently he sits as Societe Arabe Internationale de Banque Chairman since 1/8/2018.
Deputy Managing Director for Retail, Branches
Mr. Atallah who is the Deputy Managing Director of saib bank for Retail, Branches Sectors is responsible for fulfilling the bank’s strategy through the development of executive plans that ensure efficient resources management in the following fields: Central Operations , IT , Retail & Branches as well as Corporate Communications.
Mr. Atallah has more than 37 years of experience in the banking sector during which he has assumed numerous executive positions in several banks. He started his banking career in 1981 at the Arab Bank PLC till 1999 where he became the VP country head of Individual Banking Egypt Area Management. During the period from 2001 till 2006, Mr. Atallah became Senior General Manager for Individual Banking Group & Branches & Operation. After which he has joined bank Audi, Egypt Audi Sardar Group as the Senior General Manager for Retail & Branches. Then, Mr. Atallah joined the Ahli United Bank – Egypt as Deputy CEO from 2008 to 2011.Prior to joining saib bank as the Deputy Managing Director, he was appointed as the Assistant Managing Director at the Arab International bank (2011 – 2018).
Mr. Atallah chaired & membered many committees throughout his career path; IT Steering Committee , HR Committee , Credit Committee , Asset & Liabilities Committee & Executive Committee .
Mr. Atallah holds a bachelor degree of Commerce – Ain Shams University. He has attended advanced training programs in diversified business areas with prestigious institutions such as: Achieving Breaking Through Services & Strategic Marketing Management from Harvard University Boston, Credit Management Course from Arab Bank PLC – Cairo, Private Banking – Euro Money- Cairo, in addition to Financial Futures & Options & Management Treasury Operations from Reuters , Cairo
Deputy Managing Director of Control & Risk
Deputy Managing Director for Business
Mr. Tarek Abdou is the Deputy Managing Director of saib for Business, he is leading the Corporate Banking, SMEs, Treasury & Capital Markets, Financial Institutions, Investments, Business Development and Synergy.
Mr. Tarek holds 30 Years of vast Banking experience, he started his banking career in 1992 when he joined the Operations and Customer Service Department at Barclays Bank, in 1993 he joined the Corporate Banking Division at Arab Bank, In 2006 he moved to Bank Audi were he stayed for 8 years and held several positions in corporate banking until he Headed the Corporate Banking and Syndications as the General Manager. In 2014 Mr. Tarek Joined Union National Bank as the Executive Vice President for Corporate Banking and Syndications.
His last occupation prior to joining saib was the Deputy CEO for Wholesale Banking since 2016 at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt in addition to being the Chairman of Al Ahli Kuwaiti Leasing Company.
General Manager of Treasury and Capital Markets
Mr. Amr Abdallah is the Head of Treasury & Capital Markets, an executive committee and ALCO member at SAIB . He joined the bank in 2019 coming from HSBC Bank Egypt where he worked and supervised Markets Treasury, Rates and FX trading. Previously, Mr. Abdallah worked in international and regional banks of which he started his career in Treasury at Arab Bank plc Egypt. He enjoys more than 16 years of wide experience in Treasury & Capital Markets field, Mr. Abdallah earned a bachelor degree from faculty of commerce English section at Ain Shams University in 2004, and holds an MBA degree in Banking and Finance from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands in 2011.
Group Head of Retail Banking and Distribution Channel
Amr Nossair is currently holding the position of Retail & Distribution Channels Group Head
Mr. Nossair has more than 20 years of the banking experience in a variety of different roles & responsibilities. Prior to his current role in saib, Mr. Nossair was the senior general manager for Retail Banking & Micro Finance group in Banque Du Caire for 2 years, during which he navigated the Retail & Micro Finance strategies in line with the banks overall growth plans for the two segments to grow their market share. Prior to this, he was the General Manager for Retail Banking Sector in Bank Audi – Egypt, where he spent 9 years across different departments establishing business strategies & plans. Mr. Nossair started his banking career in 2001 with Citi Bank – Egypt, where he spent more than 9 years, during which he held several Banking positions in Retail Banking, the Last was Head of Retail Risk Policy. In addition to his role, He served as board member in various companies like EBC & Egyserv. Mr. Nossair holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Ain Shams University in addition to Several International Certificates such as:
-“International Retail Banker” from Lafferty International Academy for Retail banking in UK.
-“Executive Leadership Program” – Harvard Business School” from Harvard university - USA.
Head of Risk Sector
Mr. Wael Mostafa Badr is currently the General Manager for Credit risk at saib bank.
He has more than 35 years of experience in the banking field.
In his previous role with SAIB, he held the positions of Head of Risk sector, Head of Credit administration and NPL sector, Head of banking operations and Head of the Retail sector. He was also the Branch manager for the head office branch.
Before joining saib, he played many leadership roles in the corporate sector for almost more than 15 years as he was the credit portfolio manager (large corporate) at the EBE and EGB banks.
Head of the Central Operations and Information Technology sectors
Khaled Naim is the Chief Operations Officer of Societe Arabe Internationale de Banque (saib) since December 2018. Mr. Khaled is a Senior Executive who has more than 36 years of experience in the banking sectors including IT, audit and operations that support ambitious and competitive banking strategic business plans. Prior to joining (saib), Mr. Khaled was at the Suez Canal Bank, holding the positions of Chief Operation Officer, Senior General Manager, and Head of Audit. He also served in different senior positions within the audit group of the Arab Bank PLC for 16 years after serving for 6 years as a developer in the IT department in Cairo and Austria.
Mr. Khaled was a representative of Suez Canal Bank as Board Member at (Sharm Dreams Co. For Touristic Investment - Suez Canal Company For Technology Settling) and a representative of Arab Bank PLC as Board Member at (Arab Sudanese Bank – a subsidiary of Arab Bank Group). Furthermore, during his career he was selected as a member of various committees such as: Strategic Committee, Executive Committee, IT Steering Committee, New Products Committee, HR Committee, Operational Risk Committee, Assets and Liability Management Committee (ALCO), Bed Debts Committee and as member of the Control Committee for Wehda Bank (Libya).
Mr. Khaled is a Certified Bank Auditor, holding a bachelor’s degree of Commerce from Ain Shams University.
Head of Financial Sector
Mohamed Mokhtar is currently holding the position of chief financial officer at saib Bank.
Prior to his current role in saib, Mr. Mokhtar was the CFO for Egyptian Export Development Bank. Prior to this , he was the deputy CFO Head of Assets and Liabilities Management and Investors Relation Officer in Credit Agricole, Egypt. Mr Mokhtar has more than 20 years’ experience in finance, covered all finance functions since he joined. Ex Egyptian American Bank in early nineties as junior accountant.
Mohamed had B.Sc. of Commerce - Cairo University and Master in business administration from Edinburgh business school - UK with specialization in financial risk management and derivatives.
During his carrier life, Mohamed had a track record of successful achievements. He participated in the merger process for two merging banks on all finance related merger issues. He created assets and liabilities (ALM) function from scratch , developed management information system (MIS) in Credit Agricole Egypt and leading team of professional staff (middle management and juniors)lead team of professionals. With his role as investor relation officer Mohamed liaise with all current and potential investors and research houses participating in conferences, road shows in Egypt and abroad.
Mohamed is registered instructor with The Egyptian Banking Institute and completed International Perspective Program in conjunction with Credit Agricole SA-France and participated in attended Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA) program with The Egyptian Banking Institute.
Head of Syndicated loans & Investment
Mrs. Nevine joined saib in 2005, as head of syndicated loans and direct equity for the last 10 years. Mrs. Salah holds a Master degree in Bus. Admin. - Edinburgh University and enjoys 31 years of work experience in banking sector and Int’l agencies for development. Her core specialization in conventional credit and versatile background in lending mechanisms enabled her to work both in Large Corporate and Syndicated Loans. Benefiting from her market knowledge and net of communication , the syndicated loans portfolio surged remarkably, representing a vital component of saib’s lending portfolio through arranging 6 syndicated loans to eminent local institutions and placing saib among top players in this errand, in addition to participating in loans arranged by other banks enhancing the local economic performance.
Group Head of Corporate Banking
Mrs. Dina Samaha joined saib in Q3’ 2020 as Head of Corporate. Mrs. Dina has Banking experience for over 21 years, bringing a wealth of experience from her prior role as Head of Corporate & Investment Bank in Citi Egypt.
Dina has managerial as well as Credit and Marketing experience with Public Sector, Local Corporate and Financial Institutions clients. Additionally, she worked on various Corporate Finance and other structured Debt Capital Market transactions. This is in addition to her prior Risk Management assignments that complement her Corporate Banking experience.
Dina is a member of saib’s Executive Committee including other Senior Management committees.
Dina is a member of Core Banking Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, and has successfully participated in various AmCham organized Door Knock missions to Washington DC to promote Egyptian government messages to the US Cabinet.
Dina has an MBA from Maastricht School of Management (2005) and has focused on Banking & Finance. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the American University in Cairo (AUC) with major in Business Administration, minor in Economics.
